Connor and Buck’s great hunt

I won’t pretend to know everyone in Madison County, but I don’t think there are folks carrying the name Connor, at least not ones carrying the name and being of the old Connor family. There are, however, 31 graves bearing that surname, and many folks carrying Connor DNA. Those last include but are not limited to folks named Westmoreland and Evans. Check back a few generations and you may find you have some too.

Cap: Nessa is a three-year-old, 50-pound Heeler mix and in need of a home. She is described as a beautiful, friendly girl who loves people and plays well with other dogs. REBUILDING WARRIORS

Alexandra Prieto poses with her dog, Arasy, at Rebuilding Warriors’ BBQ fundraiser on Sunday, which was also the 77th anniversary of D-Day. The event was held at the organization’s Madisonville headquarters and home of CEO and founder Jeff Anderson on State Street and a number of donors, veterans and law enforcement officials were in attendance. The event included a silent auction as well as activities and delicious BBQ. Little League holds closing ceremonies

The Madisonville Little League honored their players with a closing ceremony for their spring baseball season in the presence of friends and family members May 26 in the Madisonville High School Auditorium. The event was originally scheduled to take place at the Lake Madison Park fields but was moved due to expected inclement weather.
