2025 National AMBER Alert Awareness Day

Each year on January 13th, the U.S. Department of Justice, AMBER Alert Coordinators at the state, regional, tribal, and local levels, state Missing Children Clearinghouses and AMBER Alert partners observe National Amber Alert Awareness Day in honor of Amber Hagerman and the establishment of a national AMBER Alert Program by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Madisonville Cemetery Expands Wreaths Program

richard.sirman@madisonvillemeteor.com The spirit of last month’s 290-wreath donation to Madisonville Cemetery lives on through a new partnership with Wreaths Across America (WAA), and now the Madisonville Cemetery Association wants to expand the program’s reach. Cemetery officials aim to provide wreaths not just for Madisonville Cemetery, but for veterans’ graves across Madison County, including Willowhole Cemetery, Wealthy Cemetery and the Ten Mile Cemetery near Midway.
