VADA ROBERTSON

Vada Reynolds Robertson, age 78, was taken to be with our Lord on Friday, May 20th, 2022. She departed from this world peacefully while sleeping in her bed at home.

She was born to Milton Murphy Reynolds and Annie Kelton Reynolds on July 29th, 1943, in their home. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1963, and moved to Austin, Texas where she earned her cosmetology license. She became known as one the best hairdressers in Austin at the time. Vada Married Lee Edward Robertson in 1968 and moved to Azle, Texas, and had 2 children, Scott, and Sandy. Vada Robertson is survived by her husband Lee Robertson of 54 years of marriage, her daughter Sandy Robertson, her son Scott Robertson, and her grandson Warren Sellers-Robertson, sister, Betty Ann Neal, brothers, Reed Reynolds, George Reynolds, GG Reynolds and countless nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by brothers and sisters Sunshine Greer, Beth King Spiller, Walton Reynolds, Marie Lohner, Jack Reynolds, Grace Wall, Rita Slaughter Davis, Rebecca Harrell, and Buddy “James” Reynolds. Vada Robertson will always be remembered for being selfless; she would help anyone she could. She was devoted to her children, her husband, and to all her other family. Services will be held at Elwood Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 28th.
