EATHEL LUCILLE MCBRIDE
Services were held 3 P.M., Saturday, June 18, for Eathel Lucille McBride, 69, of Midway. Burial followed immediately at Allphin Cemetery in Midway. Mrs. McBride passed away at her home on June 13, 2022.
Eathel Lucille Weaver was born in Houston, Texas, March 26, 1953, to Wilbur W. and Barbara Rae Weaver. She grew up and graduated from high school in Spring. She was preceded in death by her mother and by her brother, Norman Eugene Weaver.
Eathel married James M. “Mike” McBride on June 26, 1971. They had three sons, Adam Gregory “Greg” and wife, Andrea; Stephen Jeffrey “Jeff” and wife, René; and Robert “Michael” and wife, Cassie.
She loved preparing meals for her family and was remembered as a wonderful cook. Eathel loved fishing, crocheting, communicating with loved ones by Facebook, reading books, and loved being with her grandchildren, especially where they explored the outdoors together.
She retired from Carter Enterprises after over twenty years managing Subway in Madisonville.
Eathel was a member of Sand Prairie Baptist Church in Normangee.
Survivors include her husband; their three sons; her father; brother, Ronald L. Weaver and wife, Patty; sister, Wilma R. Loscuito and husband, Anthony; and sister-in-law, Clara Feuhs; grandchildren, Megan, Jacob, Mark, Irony, Robynn, Louis, and Henry; and great-grandchild, Aaron.
Pallbearers were Jay C. Coleman, J. C. Bryan, Jody Donaho, DeWitt Yahr, Marvin Dittfurth, and Charles Cook.
Honorary pallbearers included Homer Burson, Stephen Brockman, Bob Oglesby, and Brett Smith.
Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
