WILBURN CARLTON BULLARD, III
Funeral services for Wilburn Carlton Bullard, III, age 70, of Madisonville, Texas were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Glenn Connor, pastor of Elwood Baptist Church, officiated the service. Interment followed in Madisonville Cemetery.
Wilburn Carlton Bullard, III was born October 24, 1951, in Baytown, Texas to Wilburn Carlton, Jr. & Rosa (Bradbury) Bullard. Carlton graduated from Texas A&M in 1974, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Finance and received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 1998. Carlton then received his Law degree from the South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas in May, 2003. In 2005, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the South Texas College of Law, Houston, Texas. Carlton had made his home in Madisonville for the past twenty years where he worked as a welder in the oilfield industry. He was active in numerous local organizations including the Masonic Lodge #740 in Madisonville, as well as a patron member of the NRA.
Carlton passed away June 25, 2022, in Madison County, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Thomas Randall “Randy” Bullard and sister, Julia Ann Nagel.
Surviving family members include daughter & son-in-law, Kimberly & Monty Woods of Cuero; grandchildren, Emily Grace, Bailey Faith, Cody Cash & Casey Colton Woods; sisters, Martha Louree Bullard of Madisonville and Kathi LaPointe of Stafford and numerous nephews, as well as “The Boys (dogs),” Buddy, Buster & Elvis.
