ERLDEAN DOTSON

Funeral services for Erldean Dotson, age 88, of Bedias, Texas was held 10 A.M., Friday, November 18, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Glenn Connor officiated the service. Interment followed in San Marcos Cemetery, San Marcos, Texas at 4 P.M.

Erldean Dotson was born October 9, 1934 in Livingston, Texas to William Earl & Sadie Oneeta (Rozell) Hogan. She had worked as an office administrator for many years, as well as serving her family as a dedicated homemaker.

Erldean had lived the past twenty-five years in Bedias, Texas coming from the Houston area. She most enjoyed watching television in the comfort of her home. When she did travel, Erldean loved going out to eat, especially Mexican food, fried shrimp and strawberry pie.

Erldean passed away November 14, 2022 in Huntsville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Leslie Dotson and sister, Betty Hogan Ivey.

Surviving family members include daughters, Debbie Warren of Bedias and Ronda Dotson of Houston; brothers, William “Bill” Hogan (June) of Granbury and Larry Hogan (Joanna) of Sargent; grandchildren, Deanna Stanton (James) of Bedias, Matt Warren of Bedias and Jeff Warren; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler, Leslie, Jay-Lynn, Montana, Hunter and Jadie, as well as great-great-grandchildren, Krosslyn and Hartleigh and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
