PAULINE GRACE (FORD) DREHER

Pauline Grace (Ford) Dreher, of Bedias, Texas, was born to Lee Talmage Ford and Allie (Franklin) Ford on November 22, 1927. She passed away on May 27, 2024 at the age of ninety-six years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of sixty-seven years, Terence Dreher; and four siblings, Aliene Smith, Betty Shead, Roy Ford, and Frank Ford.

Pauline is survived by her son, Leon Dreher and wife, Vergie and grandsons, Jarrod Dreher and wife, Lisa and Keith Dreher and wife, Kristi; she also leaves behind six great-grandchildren, Hunter Dreher and wife, Anna, of Houston, Erica Dreher, Kyler Dreher, Kayde Dreher, Jolie Dreher and Keeley Dreher, all of Bedias.

Pauline attended school in Bedias, Texas while living on the family farm on Canefield Road (CR 145). She met Terence, who also lived on Canefield Road, and the two dated and later married on March 24, 1944. Pauline had a long work career, which included twenty years at Channelview State Bank.

In 1977, Pauline and Terence moved back to Bedias and settled on Canefield Road once again. Pauline and Terence were active members of the Bedias Baptist Church since their return.

Pauline loved to travel and “go picking” for antiques, in which she displayed a unique talent for restoring her newfound treasures.

A graveside service for Pauline was held 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Bedias Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Nathan Hoke officiated the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Bedias Baptist Church-Building Fund, P.O. Box 176, Bedias, Texas 77831.

Pallbearers were Hunter Dreher, Erica Dreher, Kyler Dreher, Kayde Dreher, Jolie Dreher, Keeley Dreher.

Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
