Deborah Claudia Sisco (Moss), age 67, died suddenly on July 13, 2024 in Temple Texas due to an acute cardiovascular event.

Deborah was born on March 29, 1957 in San Antonio Texas to Donald and Virgina Moss (Hickok). She spent much of her youth in Port Neches Texas graduating from Port Neches Groves High School in 1975.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Garry Sisco; daughters, Amber Jones (Yasoni), Tiffany Vestal (Yasoni), and Elizabeth Ramirez (Russell). She is also survived by what she called the best part of having children, her grandchildren, Isabel, Jacob, Tegan, and Audrey. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark; husband, Hugh Monty Russell; and infant son, Jacob Russell.

Deborah worked for many years at the local bank and Edward Jones in Madisonville, Texas. She also worked for the Carrollton- Farmers Branch ISD in Carrollton Texas, Western Hills Elementary School with Temple ISD, and as a practice patient for Baylor Scott and White assisting to train medical professionals. Deborah’s work in Temple was especially meaningful to her. She loved knowing she made a positive impact in her community.

Deborah was known for her outstanding sense of humor, love of holidays, and warmth of spirit. She loved planning outings and events often enhanced by costumes or themed outfits. Deborah was above all the heart of our family. Her loss comes a great shock and a deep wound deeply felt by her entire family and countless others who loved and knew her.

In honor of her wishes, Deborah’s remains will be spread near Fredericksburg Texas this spring. Following the intimate service her family will gather in memory and celebration of her life.
