EDNA LEE (MARTIN) BROWN

1939-2024

Edna Lee (Martin) Brown obtained her eternal life with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Pastor Lindsey Brown and Cousin, Laura Kornegay will be officiating her celebration of life 11 a.m.

Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Day Funeral Home in Madisonville, TX. Immediately following the service, there will be a time of visitation at a reception at The Normangee Service Center in Normangee, TX.

Edna was born on June 3, 1939 in The George Community to Lester and Alice (Wal-was a member of The Living Truth Church in Madisonville, TX and she enjoyed her flowers, canning, sewing, and visiting with her family and friends. She always spread joy and love to all those around her.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Alice (Walton) Martin; her loving husband, Horace Brown; her brother, Cicero Martin, and her sister, Annie Mae (Martin) Brown.

Edna is survived by her children, Irene Bridges (Sam), Lee Ann Williams (Glynda); her grandchildren, Alesha, Crystal (Sammy), Natalie (Ben), Ethan, Caleb, Anias, Quinlan, Selma, Cora, and Angela; and her special friend and caregiver, Charles Wilson.

Edna will be loved and missed by all who admired and experienced her love.
