Juneteenth Organization Hosts Christmas Ball Fundraiser

The Madison County Juneteenth Organization will celebrate the holiday season with its Christmas Ball Dec. 14 at the Madison County Juneteenth Center, marking the beginning of its 40th-anniversary celebrations.

The formal event begins at 9 p.m. and encourages attendees to dress in their finest suits and formal attire. While reservation tables have sold out due to community support, tickets remain available at the door for $10.

Proceeds from the Christmas Ball will support two major initiatives: children’s activities planned for the upcoming 40th Anniversary Juneteenth Parade and the organization’s annual scholarship banquet held each September.

The Juneteenth Organization, now in its 39th year, continues its tradition of community engagement and support through these seasonal celebrations and educational programs.
