Care Center Hosts Chili Contest

The smell of chili will fill the air at Madisonville Care Center later this month as cooks battle for bragging rights during the center’s Chili Cook-off.

The free event will be held at 411 E. Collard St from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Locals will serve their secret recipes as visitors taste them, and judges will vote for their favorite bowl.

The center will serve free bowls of chili to visitors, and door prizes will be given out during the event. For details or to enter the contest, call 936-348-2735
