The Meteor moving office
For more than a century, The Madisonville Meteor has been the community's most trusted source of news and advertising.
However, we are not immune to the same market forces that affect other local businesses, so after careful consideration The Meteor has made the choice to move from its current location and consolidate operations at 115 Railroad Street in Navasota.
'This wasn't an easy decision, but it was the right one for our company as we continue to grow and strengthen our operations. While our office will now be based in Navasota, our heart and commitment remain right here in Madison County. The Madisonville Meteor will continue to cover your stories and be present at every event we can,' Area Publisher Ana Cosino-Mize said.
You may not see us in the old building in the days ahead, but that doesn't mean we've disappeared.
'The only thing changing is our office address. Our dedication to Madison County isn't going anywhere. You will still see us out in the community, covering every event we can and sharing your stories,' Cosino-Mize said.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Over the course of its long existence serving our audience, The Madisonville Meteor has moved locations several times. But the coverage has never wavered.
We've always been your hometown newspaper with a hometown perspective.
You'll continue to see our reporters every day, our sales representatives will still be calling on our advertising partners, and the front office remains just as responsive as always to your needs, whether it's a subscription renewal or placing a classified ad.
We expect to move by mid-December, but before then, feel free to stop by the current office at 205 N. Madison to drop off any press releases, ads, subscriptions or anything else.
