Charles Kenneth Andrews, 92 years of Madisonville, TX passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. His life was celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at The First Baptist Church with burial following at Madisonville City Cemetery. The visitation was 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Bro. Dennis Ivey and Rev. Jim Jackson officiated.

Kenneth, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on August 25, 1933, in Madisonville, TX to Joe Gus Andrews and Melba Itasca (Gibson) Andrews. He graduated from Madisonville High school in 1948 and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1952.

Kenneth was a lifetime rancher, and he worked with Capital Farm Credit for fifteen years, then retired with the Federal Land Bank after seventeen years. He was a long-time member of The First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was also a long-time member of The Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees where he served as the vice-president.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of sixty-eight years, Mary Jane (Powell) Andrews; his stepfather, J.H. Frossard; and his brother, Joe Harold Andrews.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Steve Andrews (Anita) and Gus Andrews (Annette); his grandchildren, Rusty Andrews (Mary), Cassidy Andrews, Tracy Smith, Clay Andrews (Amanda), Brandon Berry, and Charli Jones (Jacob); 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Clay Andrews, Rusty Andrews, Jacob Jones, Tucker Blair, Ray Brown, and Dave Ward. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Buddy Barrett, Ronnie Nettles, and Craig Stover.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place; Memphis, TN 38105).
