BARBARA ANN 'GIGI' CLARK HENSON

Barbara Ann 'Gigi' Clark Henson, 94, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 15, 2026 after a life devoted to faith, family, and serving others. She was born on August 29, 1931, in Hagerman, New Mexico, to Fred Holmes Clark, Sr. and Hazel Ernestine Langenegger Clark.

Barbara married Arthur Monroe Henson on June 18, 1949, and they shared nearly 73 years of marriage until his death in 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Fred Holmes 'Buddy' Clark, Jr.; her husband, Arthur; and her son, Fred Arthur Henson.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Marie Thames and husband Buddy; her son, David Carl Henson and wife Darlene; her daughter- in-law, Elizabeth Henson; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Barbara accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of five, and her faith remained the foundation of her life. She faithfully served in her church as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School worker, choir member, and devoted prayer warrior. She loved children, Southern Gospel music, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family. A gifted selftaught pianist, she found great joy in sharing music with those she loved.

Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous spirit, and the love she shared with everyone she met.
