DANNY EUGENE KIRBY, SR.

Danny Eugene Kirby, Sr.; 64; of Normangee, TX; passed away on Sunday; July 4, 2021, in Bryan, TX. Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday; July 11, 2021 at The First Baptist Church in Normangee, TX. Bro. Larry Grimes officiated. The burial followed at Hopewell Cemetery in Normangee, TX.

“Danny Boy”, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on March 8, 1957, in Houston, TX to Tom Arthur and Viona Pearl (Stovall) Kirby He attended school in Normangee and enlisted in The United States Army, where he served his country in the mid-1970’s. Danny worked as a mechanic his whole life.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Staines Kirby; his children, Thomas Kirby, Danny Kirby, Jr., Amanda Kirby, Christopher Staines, Lorenzo Caraveo, Anthony Caraveo, Andrew Caraveo, and Alyssa-Mae Caraveo; his siblings, Cynthia Juarez, Deborah Wallin, Jean Williams, Jimmy Singletary, and Robert Kirby; many many wonderful nieces and nephews; fifteen special grandchildren and one special grandchild in heaven.

Serving as pallbearers were: Lawrence, Josh, and Aaron Hutchins; Junior and Dulley Hinson; Seth Winn; Michael Juarez; Tommy Wallin; Chris Herron; and Lorenzo Caraveo.
