Aggravated robbery at local game room

Two male subjects took $200 from an employee after breaking into a local game room, located at 204 South May Street, at approximately 5 p.m. on Aug. 2, according to a Madisonville Police Department press release.

The subjects entered the business with a revolver-type handgun. Video was obtained during the investigation, resulting in two suspects and their vehicle.

One of the suspects was identified as William Todd Downie, a white male born on July 11, 1990 (age 31).

The truck the two suspects fled in was found by Madison County Deputies abandoned in approximately the 14,000 block. of FM 247 on Friday, August 13th, 2021, and is currently being processed for additional evidence.

The weapon reportedly used in the robbery was also recovered at a residence on Burr Road in Madison County. He has an active warrant for his arrest on the charge of Aggravated Robbery.
