Betty Jo (Cooper) Stover; 95 years, 5 months, 11 days; passed away on Friday; January 1, 2021 in Madisonville, TX. A private graveside service is scheduled for 1PM on Wednesday; January 6, 2021 at Madisonville Cemetery in Madisonville, TXwith Reverend Jim Jackson officiating.

Bettywas born on July 21, 1925 in Madisonville, TX to Joseph and Louella (Burden) Cooper, graduated from Madisonville High School, and attended Southern Methodist University and Sam Houston State University where she met her husband, L.B. Stover.

Bettywas preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; her sisters, Kat (Cooper) Sullivan and Jane (Cooper) Crouch; and her daughter-in-law, Shelly Stover.

Betty is survived by her children; Laura Henson (Dwayne), Susan Nix (Fred), and Craig Stover; her grandchildren, Randy Powers, Ragan Fox, Lanie (Nix) Lenhart, Laurie (Nix) I)ykoski, Lee Nix, Steven Stover; numerous grandchildren and other family members; and special friends, Elke Guevara and Brenda Banks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe given to The First United Methodist Church in Madisonville, DC.
