Billie Stringer, age 76, passed away January 13, 2021 in Bryan, Texas. A celebration of her life was held 11 A.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in North Zulch. Pastor Randall Smith officiated the service. Interment followed in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.

Billie Jean Stringer was born January 22, 1944 in Bellville, Texas to Marvin Lester & Merle Lucille (Meyer) Ellis. She married the love of her life, Leonard Stringer, August 31, 1963 and they made their home in Houston until 2003. Billie was a devoted wife, an avid reader and she loved living on her ranch and watching the wildlife. She also loved her trips with her family and grandkids. Most of all, Billie adored her husband of fifty-six years with all of her heart.

Billie was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband of fifty-six years, Leonard Stringer.

Surviving family members include sister, Linda Underwood of Missouri; son, Jeff (April) Stringer of Bellville; daughters, Tammie (Tim) Lem of Garland and Marcie (Doug) LaBelle of Granbury; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Thomas Levi and Michael Lucas Stringer, Tony and Nikki Lem and Maggie LaBelle, as well as great-grandchildren, Chase and Chloe Harries and Dylan Lem.

Pallbearers: Tony Lem, Levi Stringer, Layne Wells, Darryl Theiss, Tim Regetz, Chase Harries

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 5084 Church Lane, North Zulch, Texas 77872-9714.
