COMMISSIONER RICHARD “RICKY” DRISKELL

Commissioner Richard Byrle “Ricky” Driskell, 67 years of Madisonville, TX; passed away on March 9, 2022 in Madisonville, TX at his home. Cremation services are under the care of Day Funeral Home.

Ricky was born on October 13, 1954 in Bossier, LA to R.B. and Earline (Goodrum) Driskell. He graduated from Madisonville High School and was the long-time Madison County Commissioner for Precinct 1.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father and his brother, David Driskell.

Ricky is survived by his mother, his wife; Bink Driskell; his daughter, Jaime Driskell; his son, Mathew Driskell; his grandchildren, Shelby Washington, Eric Washington and Brandon Crowley; his great-granddaughter, Serenity Washington; his siblings, Sue Swinner, and Debbie Holland (Doug); his sisters-in-law, Tammy Driskell and Kathy Lusco (Vince); and his brothers-in-law, Rick Grall (Missy) and Doug Grall (Tami); and numerous nieces and nephews.
