DIANE (SPRINGER) CRUMP

Diane Crump, 75, of Madisonville, TX; passed away on Thursday; September 30, 2021 in Bryan, TX. Her life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday; October 6, 2021 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX with Brother Jim Brazzil officiating. The burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, TX.

Diane was born on January 7, 1946 in Houston, TX to Lavoise Hart and lived in the “Cottonwood Community” of Madison County for many years after she, her husband, Tom, and daughter Lorena moved from Liberty Hill, TX. Soon after moving to Madisonville, Diane went to work for Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District, where she worked for many years educating the youth of our community in the computer department, retiring in 2020 from the junior high school campus.

Diane was preceded in death by her mother and her husband, Tom. She is survived by her child, Lorena Crump; step-son’s Gary Crump (Julie), and Jason Crump (Lindsay), her grandchildren, Tyler Crump, Garrett Crump, Joshua Crump, Olivia Crump, Hayden Crump, Ashton Garcia, and Madden Romero; and her loving companion, Edward Menville.
