DIANNE MATZKE

1944 – 2025

Dianne Collier Matzke, 81, passed away Oct. 14, 2025, in Bryan, Texas.

Dianne was born Aug. 29, 1944, in Waller, Texas. She was the fourth child to Lewis and Beryl (Kimball) Collier.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Matzke, and her parents. Dianne leaves behind a son, Flint, and his wife Amanda; two grandsons, Logan and Cole; a sister, Jeane Miles, and her husband John; numerous extended family members and her good friend Ann Colwell.

Dianne grew up in Katy and Cleveland, Texas. She graduated from Cleveland High School and attended Sam Houston State. When Dianne and her husband married, they first lived in Beaumont then moved to Madison County when her husband transferred in 1972.

Dianne and Bill traveled all over Texas during their years together. In earlier years they went to many rodeos, and later she travelled with Bill while he hunted every game bird to be found.

She enjoyed reading, cooking and doting over her grandsons.
