EUNA “CAROL” ROGERS

A funeral service for Carol Rogers was held 2 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Interment followed at Madisonville Cemetery.

Euna “Carol” Rogers, 76, of Madisonville, Texas passed away on February 7, 2022, in Madisonville, Texas. She was born on May 24, 1945, to Conard Mays Heath and Ethel (Nash) Heath in Normangee, Texas. Carol spent most of her life in Madisonville and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was very creative and used that talent to help others by making homecoming mums and flower arrangements. She took on the devoted responsibility of being a member of the Madisonville Fire Department Auxiliary and helped take care of firemen on fire calls by bringing food and drinks. One of her biggest bragging rights was honoring that four generations of her family serve as volunteer firemen for Madisonville Fire. She was an excellent cook, her family looked forward to enjoying her meals and any baked sweets.

Carol was preceded in death by both parents; son, Timothy Mark Keen; four brothers and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory include husband, Bobby Rogers of Madisonville, Texas; sons, Troy Dale Jones (Sherry) of Madisonville, Texas, Terry Don Rogers (D’Ann) of Madisonville, Texas and Tracy Rogers of Madisonville, Texas; daughters, Connie L. Jones Wise of Pennsylvania and Sherry Loving of Florida; sister, Patsy Sue Iverson of Bryan, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of extended family, friends, nieces and nephews.
