GLYNN BRUCE KARBER

1938 – 2026

Bruce Karber, 87 years of Magnolia, passed away on January 14, 2026 and his life was celebrated 11 a.m. January 19 at Day Funeral Home with the burial following at Park Cemetery. The visitation was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Bruce was born on October 16, 1938 in Madisonville to John and Eunice (Wilson) Karber. He graduated from Madisonville High School and proudly served his country during The Korean War.

Bruce was preceded in death by his par-ents; his wife, Mary Isobel (Schlesinger) Karber; his brothers, Kenneth Karber (Betty) and Randell Karber (Carolyn); his sister-inlaw, Annette Karber, and his brother-in-law, Carl Thurman.

Bruce is survived by his children, Mark Karber (Alfonsina) and Judy Nowlin (Randy); his grandchildren, Joshua Richardson (Tara), Zachary Richardson (Angie), and Kayla Sanders (Cody); his great grandchildren, Malaki, Isabelle, Titus, and Silas Richardson and Andrew and Autumn Sanders; his brothers, Harvey Karber and Billy Karber (Nita); his sister, Donna Thurman; and many other family members and friends.
