GRACE LAVONE FICKEY

Grace Lavone Fickey passed away January 6, 2022 in League City, Texas at the age of eighty-eight years. She was born April 17, 1933 in Kosse, Texas to Henry & Florence Edna (Williams) Gideon and was a devoted wife and homemaker her entire life. Grace had enjoyed the hobbies of painting and quilting.

Grace was preceded in death by both of her parents. Survivors include husband, Floy W. Fickey; daughter, Candace L. Hennington & husband, Steve; brother, David H. Gideon & wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Matt (Julie) Hennington, Angie (Chris) Galvan and Jake (Erin) Hennington; great-grandchildren, Taylor Galvan, Lexi Hennington, Ethan Hennington, Maddie Hennington, Mason Hennington and Caleb Hennington and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service celebrating Grace’s life was held 11 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Glenn Connor officiated the service followed by interment in Allphin Cemetery. Madisonville Funeral
