Harvey Lee Karber, 89 years of Bedias, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Harvey’s life was celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Bedias Baptist Church. The burial followed at Bedias Baptist Cemetery. There was a visitation at 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Harvey was born on August 19, 1936 in Madisonville, TX to John Dave Karber and Eunice Lois (Wilson) Karber. He graduated from Madisonville High School in 1954 and soon began his lifetime career in the insurance industry.

Harvey was preceded in death by his wife of over sixty-five years, Annette (Hetzel) Karber; his parents; his great granddaughter, Vallerie Terrall; his brothers, Kenneth Karber (Betty), Bruce Karber (Mary), and Randell Karber (Carolyn); his brotherin- law, Carl Thurman; and many other family members.

Harvey is survived by his daughters, Nancy Sarria, Deinna Haynes (Mark), and Kaylah Zufall (Bernard); his grandchildren; his numerous great grandchildren; his 3 great great grandchildren; and his siblings, Billy Karber (Nita) and Donna Thurman.
