LEOLA JONES

Leola Jones, 84, passed away July 29, 2022. She was born December 20, 1937 to Milton and Lottie Jackson in Opelousas, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Joe Jackson and Paul Jackson.

She retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), May 2009.

She was a member of West Main Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Orlean Jones; children, Rosalyn Johnson, Mark Jones, Arlene Jones Good and Gus Jones; also grandchildren, brothers, sisters and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held August 6, 2022 at 11 A.M. , at Madisonville Christian Fellowship located at 3973 Hwy 21 East, Madisonville, TX 77864. Interment will follow at a private time at the Houston National Cemetery.
