Linda Bracewell Massey, 76, of Needville, Texas, passed away on February 2, 2021 in Richmond, Texas. She was born on September 20, 1944 in Bedias, Grimes County, Texas to Raymond and Mary Bracewell. Her hobbies included making crafts, shopping, tending to her garden, and taking care of her many dogs overs the years. She was a proud “Mamaw “to her seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Linda will truly be missed.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Massey.

Survivors include her three daughters: Cheri Hendrick, Rhonda Adams (husband Scotty), and Jamie Davis (husband Russell); brothers, Jerry Bracewell (wife Pat), and Gene Bracewell; grandchildren, Justin Hendrick (wife Courtney), Cash Hendrick (wife Cacee Sue), Corey Hendrick (wife Alea), Sarah Adams, Hannah Adams, Tyler Davis and Chloe Davis; great grandchildren, Leddy & Jett Hendrick; along with extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Linda’s home healthcare nurse, Kathy, for going above and beyond during this final year.

A visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The funeral home was limited to 50 people or less and everyone wore a facial covering.

The services was live-streamed through the obituary page on the funeral home website.

A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Bedias Baptist Cemetery in Bedias, Texas.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
