MARGARET DIANE (SUTHER) (FITE) TINSLEY

1944-2025

Margaret Diane (Suther) (Fite) Tinsley, 80 years of Madisonville, TX, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 in Madisonville. A family graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025, at High Prairie Cemetery with Dr. Jerry House officiating. The visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Day Funeral Home Chapel.

Diane was born on May 12, 1944 in Liberty, TX to E.C. and Ruby

(Rose) Suther and graduated from Madisonville High School in 1962. She enjoyed gardening, aerobics, playing mah jongg, spending time with her family and friends, and her annual trips with the “river rats”.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, David Fite.

Diane is survived by her husband of over twenty-two years, Alan Lee Tinsley; her daughter, D’Ann Fite; her son Dave Fite and his wife Bridget; her stepson, Austin Tinsley and his wife Marcie; her grandson, Austin “Tripp” Tinsley; and her sister, Donna Schott and her husband Jan.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Sonny Dean, W.R. Hensarling, John Hardy, Bubba Oden, Jan Schott, Tucker Blair, Austin Tinsley, Justin Henson, Mickey Fite, Cade Pate, Claybo Pate, Chris Thorton, Craig Stover, Matt Phillips, Bryce Duncan, Bubba Cahill, and Ed Reyna.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Diane’s memory to Rufus Refuge (PO Box 1385, Madisonville, TX 77864).
