MARILYN KAY MCCLASKEY

Marilyn Kay McClaskey, age 77, of Midway, Texas passed away in her home June 30, 2022.

Marilyn was born February 7, 1945 to Lee & Helen (Luig) Sullivan. She was a homemaker and cared for her family most of her life. Marilyn enjoyed sewing and made blankets for all of her grandchildren. She married her sweetheart, Ronald McClaskey, December 2, 1984 and they shared over thirty-seven years together as husband and wife. Marilyn and Ronald had lived in the rural Leon County area for the past eighteen years, coming from Houston, Texas.

Marilyn was preceded in death by both of her parents; sons, Michael Shedenhelm and Kenny Lewis and brother, David Sullivan. She is survived by husband, Ronald McClaskey; daughters, Lori Shedenhelm and Tammy Shedenhelm; sister, Sue Halsey; grandchildren, Elliot, Braunti and Braxton Gassiot, Brittany and Tawnie Wheeler and Evan Brook, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
