Morris Wayne “Butch” Eubanks, 80 years, 3 months, and 11 days, of North Zulch, TX passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m.

Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Day Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Rock Prairie Cemetery.

Bro. Dale Evans will officiate.

“Butch,” as he was known to his family and friends, was born on October 4, 1944 in North Zulch, TX and his parents were Jim and Evie (Diserens) Cambell.

He graduated from North Zulch High School and was a longtime employee with The Texas Department of Transportation.

Upon his retirement from TxDOT, he went to work for Madison County until his second retirement. Butch was a faithful member of Iola Worship Center.

His faith in God was unwavering and he read his Bible daily.

Butch was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Wanda (Griffin) Eubanks; his sons, Kenneth and Thomas; and his parents.

Butch is survived by his son Oliver Wayne Eubanks and his wife Lisa; his grandchildren, Antonio Eubanks, Sofia Eubanks, Elizabeth Taylor and her husband Paul, Thomas Eubanks, Abigail Anderson and her husband Jeff, and Kathryn Fuller; and his great granddaughter, Eva Taylor.

Serving as pallbearers are Dustin Keefer, Antonio Eubanks, Thomas Eubanks, Brandon Griffin, Shane Boyd, and Robert Byrd.
