MOTTIE “HILTON” WIER

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, Mottie “Hilton” Wier passed away in Temple, Texas. Hilton was born December 30, 1936, in Madisonville, Texas, to Lucille Christean McCain Wier and William Marshall Wier.

Hilton was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Wier, his parents, Lucille and William Wier and 4 siblings, Nelson Milton Wier, Ila Christine Wier (Hanh), Ethel Morris Wier, and Bill Wier.

Hilton is survived by his 5 sons: Hilton Alexander Wier (Blazek) of Dallas, Georgia, Thomas Marion Wier of Jasper, Texas, Paul Edward Wier of Dallas, Georgia, John Michael Wier of Woodstock, Georgia and Kaleb Daniel Wier of Gainesville, Georgia.

Hilton is also survived by 3 siblings: Mildred Lee Wier of Killeen, Texas, Thomas Marshall Wier of Killeen, Texas and Johnnie Ruth Wier of Lufkin, Texas, 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Hilton’s final resting place will be in Madisonville, Texas at their family plot.
