Richard Jerome Lybolt was born in Goshen, New York on October 17, 1945. In 1964 he joined the U.S. Army and served for six years. He worked in pest control. Richard passed away in Bryan, Texas on January 12, 2021.

His family said that he was a wonderful man. He tried to be a friend to everyone. He loved his family, especially his life companion and the love of his life, Linda Marquis.

His surviving family includes Linda; his children, James, Liza, Mark and Laura, Michael and Cindy. His grandchildren are Leah, Stephanie, Nick, Sarah, Kerri, Jesse and Joseph. His great grandchildren are Addison, Aiden and Maverick. One of his grandchildren said he could make everyone smile and that he loved telling jokes.

This observation from Linda: “I always said that he was a short man but he could do anything that a six foot tall man could do.”

His faith was Primitive Baptist.

“God’s will be done.”

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
