RICKY JAMES MCCORMICK

Ricky James McCormick, 49, of Madisonville, Texas passed peacefully at home on July 10, 2021. Mostly known as Kennel Sergeant for Texas Department of Criminal Justice Ferguson Unit (BigMac, BiggKountry), he was born to Billy Gene McCormick and Smantha Luttrell. Ricky was married to the love of his life, Michelle (ShortyMac). He was a loving father and cherished every moment spent with his family. He loved spending time training the dogs, hunting, fishing and anything done with family and friends.

Ricky McCormick is preceded in death by his father Billy Gene McCormick. He is survived by loving wife Michelle Flynn McCormick and their children Amber Cheyanne McCormick Lechinger and husband Austin and Dalton Aaron McCormick. His mother and step-father Smantha and Ronald Oliver, 1 brother Jeff McCormick and wife Terri, 3 sisters B.J. Stimmell and husband David, Priscilla Kerr and Jerri Lee Oliver. 2 nephews Jacob Harris and Braedyn Stimmell, 3 nieces Artemis Messerschmidt, Kaylee Stimmell and Lilith Oliver.

He will be missed greatly.

A celebration of life will be held for Ricky McCormick Aug. 21, 2021 at the Midway Civic Center at 9 a.m.
