Robbie Oran Tadlock, 91, of North Zulch, Texas passed away April 2, 2024. He was born on February 2, 1933 to Oran Paul Tadlock and Fannie (Vaught) Case in Shiro, Texas. Robbie traveled all over the world as a welder and was able to work in various places.

He was also a proud veteran who had served during the Korean War.

Robbie was a fan of country music and ran around with some country singing legends in his 193-2024 younger years. He and his late wife, Dorothy, had known each other for five days before getting married, and it grew into a loving marriage of sixty-three years.

Robbie was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Dorothy Tadlock; son, Robbie Lee Tadlock; sister, Billie Jean Collins and brother, Tommie Tadlock.

He is survived by his sons, Chance Wayne Tadlock of North Zulch, Texas and Vadin Luther Tadlock of Montrose, Colorado; daughters,

Alisa Kelly (Gene) of Woodward, Oklahoma, Lori Maxine Mann (Mike) of Crossett, Arkansas and Roberta (Tadlock) Murphy (Roy) of Midway, Texas; bonus daughter, Bobby Sue Homer of North Zulch, Texas; brother, Jackie Lee Tadlock of Birmingham, Alabama; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; dog, Aggie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Robbie was held 10 a.m.

Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Sand Prairie Baptist Church, Normangee, Texas. Bro. Larry Andrews officiated the service. Interment followed at Willowhole Cemetery, North Zulch, Texas.

Pallbearers were Roy Metzger, Joey Peterson, Danny Fleming, Mark McWhorter, Curtis Klingle, Mike Vaugh, Bobbie Sue Homer.

Honorary Pallbearers were Gene Kelly, Mike Mann, Freeman Kelly, Shane Machado, Brandon Kelly, Rusty Lewis, Joshua Tadlock, Dalton Tadlock, Donnie Sellers.

The Tadlock family would like to thank Enhabit Hospice, College Station, Texas for the care they provided to Robbie.

Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
