TOMMY HOYT

Tommy Hoyt of Austin, Texas passed away on July 11 at the age of 48. Tommy was born on April 21, 1973, in Houston, Texas to Paul on Judy Hoyt of Madisonville, Texas. He married Teri Grona Hoyt on January 18, 1997, in Bethany Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Teri, of 24 years, son Cimarron Jaxon Hoyt , parents Paul and Judy Hoyt, sister Kim Hodge, in-laws Jerry and Marlis Icke, brother and sister-in-law Phillip and Lindsey Grona, sisters-in-laws Estella and Stacey Grona and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tommy was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University. He also worked for the State of Texas Comptroller’s Office for 23 years.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 17 at Mt Olive Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas with a Christian burial service immediately following at 11 a.m.

Interment will be held at 3 p.m. at the St Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Doss, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Doss Volunteer Fire Department, Mt Olive Lutheran Church, or the charity of your choice.
