TOMMY A. PARKER, SR.

Funeral services for Tommy A. Parker, Sr., 85, of Anderson, Texas was held 2 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Pastor John Sirman officiated the service, and interment followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Carlos, Texas.

Tommy A. Parker, Sr. was born April 14, 1936 in Palacios, Texas. He received his education from Madisonville High School and Sam Houston State University. Tommy was self-employed most of his life as a cattle buyer. He was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock and Rodeo and Grimes County Fair Associations and former director of Security State Bank in Navasota, Texas. Tommy passed away at home surrounded by his family February 23, 2022.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, George Parker. Surviving family members include wife, Sue Churchwell-Parker; sons, Tommy Parker, Jr. and Robert Parker; daughters, Mary Martha Parrack and Teri Couteau; grandchildren, Blaise Parker, Tripp Parker, Garrett Parker, Jena Stewart, Kevin Parrack, Jr., Jimbo Parrack, Sam Parrack, Max Wilson, Sarah Couteau, Anne Couteau and Paizlee Parker, as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
