Lela Smith, 84, of Bedias and formerly of Madisonville, passed away May 7, 2021 in Stephenville, Texas. She was born July 19, 1936 in Centerville, Texas to T.C. & Veda (Goolsby) King. She worked most of her life in the Madison County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office and was a resident of Madisonville for fifty-five years. She had resided in Bedias the last eight years. Lela found great joy in her family. Her happiest moments were spent with her loved ones.

Graveside services for Ruth Lynch, 85, were held 2 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2021 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in the Mt. Tabor Community of Madison County. Pastor Wade Phillips officiated the service. Ruth passed away May 26, 2021 at her home following an extended illness.

Ronald Hinrichs, 77, of Bedias passed away in a Bryan hospital May 26, 2021 following an extended illness. A celebration of his life took place 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in North Zulch, Texas. Pastor of the church, Randall Smith, officiated the service.

John Michael Martin was born January 14, 1964 at 2:24 p.m. in Lubbock, Texas to Julius and Kay Martin.
