The Madisonville volleyball team split a pair of district matchups last week with a loss to China Spring on the road Oct. 5 and a home victory over Connally Friday to conclude the first round of district 3-2. The Lady Mustangs began their second round of district Tuesday with a road matchup in Mexia.

The North Zulch volleyball team has battled through one of the toughest 2A districts in the state as a young, 1A squad as they attempt to ready themselves for the 1A playoffs, which they will automatically qualify for.

All tickets to Madisonville’s freshman football matchup at Cougar Field at College Station High School Thursday must be purchased online prior to entry.
