HOTSHOTS SHINE

Lori’s School of Dance had two squads compete at the American Cheer Power event in Galveston Saturday with each group earning top marks. The Mini Hotshots (ages 4-8) took first place in their category while the Senior Hotshots (ages 8 and older) took second. Madisonville’s Armando Juarez and Sidnie Smith signed their letters of intent to continue their football and volleyball careers at Sterling College in Kansas and Vernon College in Wichita Falls Monday. Lady Stangs near district play

The Madisonville Lady Mustangs softball team competed in six matchups during a tournament in Franklin over the weekend, picking up two wins over New Waverly and Elkhart, losses to Crawford, Cameron Yoe and Caldwell and tying Fairfield. The team also defeated New Waverly in a standalone matchup at MHS March 2 by a score of 15-5.
