Golfers qualify for Regionals

The Madisonville golf team advanced to the Regional Tournament with a second place finish at the district golf tournament April 1. Regionals will be held April 19-20 at the Raven Nest Golf Course in Huntsville.

Mustang golfers include Matthew DeBoisblanc, Mason Railsback, Cameron Thrower, Cade Colwell, Daniel Bodenhamer, Ryan Kinsey and Jacob Cole.

DeBoisblanc, Railsback, Thrower, Colwell and Bodenhamer will advance to the Regional Tournament with Kinsey as an alternate.

DeBoisblanc was the top finisher for the Mustangs, tying for first place with rounds of 83 and 85 at the district tournament at Hilltop Lakes and Raven Nest. Railsback finished in eighth place while Bodenhamer, Colwell and Thrower earned 11th, 12th and 13th, respectively.
