A 35-year-old man facing felony charges, including sexual assault of a child and prostituting a minor, could face trial this spring, according to court documents. According to court reports, a bench trial is set for Shawn Allen on Monday, April 29, at the Madison County Courthouse, part of the 12th District Judicial Court.

At the Little Dribbers National Tournament in Mexia, the Madisonville Little Dribblers had an impressive showing through Thursday, April 4, and Saturday, April 6. The Little Dribbers organization in Madisonville took six teams, with 72 players, to the tournament, and three teams placed in the top three spots.

The Madisonville FCCLA Parliamentary Procedure Level 2 team placed second at state and will be competing this summer at the National Leadership Conference in Seattle Washington.
