James Ellis Jarvis of Spring, TX, 76 years, 9 months, 28 days, passed away in The Woodlands, TX on Sunday, October 1, 2023. A celebration of James’ life is scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Willowhole Chapel in North Zulch, TX with the burial to follow at Willowhole Cemetery, 12912 FM 1372 Road, in North Zulch, TX. Bro. Glenn Connor will officiate. The visitation is scheduled for Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.

On December 6, 1938, Peggy Ann Smith, a tiny baby girl, was born to Clarence E. Smith and Marie (Hutto) Smith in Humble, Texas on Willow Street. A week after her birth, her mother, Marie (Hutto) Smith, died and was buried in Rosewood Cemetery in Humble. Left to mourn Marie Smith’s death was husband, Clarence E. Smith and daughters, Peggy and Alma Gwendolyn “Gwen” Smith.

1926-2023 Gracie Mae Sanders, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023, at the age of 97 at Christus Trinity hospital in Tyler, TX. She was born on February 13, 1926, in the small town of Mecca, TX to loving parents, Jake Raymond and Lilla Mae (Morgan) Cole.

1968-2023 Polly Ann (Denmon) Rucker, 54 years, 9 months, and 12 days, of Madisonville, TX, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 in College Station, TX. Polly’s life was celebrated 11 a.m.

1935 – 2023 Mary Evelyn (Coldiron) Wager; 88 years, 6 months, 3 days; of North Zulch, TX, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 in Bryan, TX. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m.

1982 – 2023 Casee (Bailey) Davis, 40 of Normangee, TX, went to be with Jesus on Friday, September 15, 2023, at her home on her family ranch.
