He’s got the hair. He’s got the dance moves. He’s even got the pinky finger positioned just right. His attention to detail has made Travis Powell one of the best Elvis Presley impersonators in the world, and he’ll be performing in Huntsville’s Old Town Theater on August 7.

Madisonville SPED students (clockwise) Curtis Ledbetter, Christian Wilson, Hanna Shadle and Shawndrick Ross participated in Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley's Summer Earn and Learn (SEAL) Program, which is aimed at Youth Vocational Rehabilitation Participants and was created as part of the organization's commitment to build a support system for students with disabilities. The four spent five weeks working at area businesses, including Walker Co.

As we approach the month of August and the start of another school year, I hope you and your family enjoy the remainder of the 2021 summer vacation. In preparation for the first day, I would like to remind everyone that Texas will host Tax-Free Weekend from August 6-8.
