Joyce Cordelia (Dean) Maness Sharp; formerly of the Elwood Community; passed away on June 25, 2021 in Paris, TX. Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday; July 1, 2021 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX with the burial to follow at Allphin Cemetery in Midway, TX.

Robert Glenn Charles “Bobby” Pointer; 26 of Iola, TX; passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Bryan, TX. A celebration of Bobby’s life was scheduled for 12 p.m. on Tuesday; July 6, 2021 at Iola Missionary Baptist Church in Iola, TX with Bro. Dale Evans officiating. There was a visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. and the burial followed the service at Pankey Cemetery.
