The Madison County Sheriff’s Office recently made two drug-related arrests from traffic stops, according to press releases from the MCSO. On Thursday, March 28, deputies conducted a traffic stop at the Commerce and Main Streets intersection in Madisonville.

The Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees held its meeting on Monday, April 8. During the meeting, Joeli Hardy presented additional information about her Madison County Hay Relief project.

1947 – 2024 Cecelia (Marks) Huffines, 76 years, 2 months, and 23 days, of Midway, TX, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Madisonville, TX. Cecelia’s life was celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Elwood Baptist Church with Bro. Glenn Connor.
