MPD vehicles vandalized

An individual stabbed one tire on four Madisonville Police Department patrol vehicles and their animal control truck as they sat idle behind the station at approximately 8:30 p.m. Thursday. In a Friday Facebook post detailing the event, the department stated there was roughly $1,000 in damage from the vandalistic action.

Freshman Jeramiah Burns led the Mustangs with 18 points and eight rebounds in a 62-44 non-district win over Navasota Friday at MHS, their fourth straight victory. The Mustangs opened district play at home against Robinson Tuesday and will travel to China Spring Friday.
