Madison County Sheriff’s Office swore in and pinned their newest deputy, Jerry Reyes III, at his graduation ceremony Friday, Oct. 18. Deputy Reyes was sworn in by Sergeant Klute Kyle and pinned by his wife, Delaney Reyes. The ceremony honored Deputy Reyes’ recent competition of the Central Texas Police Academy’s 176th Basic Peace Course.
The Madisonville football team returns home Friday for their first game at Mustang Stadium since Sept. 20 after back-toback 56-point performances in La Grange and Caldwell to open district play. The 2-0 Mustangs will host the Sealy Tigers (5-2, 1-1) coming off their first district win over Giddings.
