Little League to vote on 2 board vacancies

Madisonville Little League will be hosting an open meeting Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Lake Madison Lake House to fill two open positions on the board. In order to run for one of the positions or cast a vote, one must be present at the meeting.
Harris shines at UMHB

BVSO to postpone three concerts

The Brazos Valley Symphony OrchestraTM today announces the postponement of three upcoming concerts; “Tangos & More” on January 24, “Three Icons” on February 21, and “DSQ +BVSO” on March 28. This announcement comes as a response to the current ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic which has disrupted many arts organizations across the country.
TOBACCO BARN COLLISION

An individual crashed his car into the side of Tobacco Barn on Main Street in Madisonville Jan. 13, no injuries were reported. According to MPD officials, the driver was in his 60s with an amputated leg and the accident was the result of a diabetic episode JONATHAN DEELEY
NZISD talks campus improvements

The North Zulch ISD facilities committee discussed further plans to remodel their elementary school and surrounding areas during a meeting in the school cafeteria Monday that lasted nearly two hours. The committee will meet again Feb. 2 to continue discussions and community members are encouraged to attend.
