Morris Heath “Pete” Smith, 83 of Midway, TX, passed away at his home on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at Day Funeral Home in Madisonville, TX. Pete’s life was celebrated 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, at Day Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Midway City Cemetery. Bros. Brad Brock and Winston Spencer officiated.
On Nov. 20, 2023, Lisa Carol Laird Osborne slipped the chains of her earthly toils and went Home, to be with her many friends and family, and rejoice forever in the presence of her Lord and Savior. She passed away so peacefully after a short, but brave and gracious, battle with cancer with her husband, Clark, and loving caregiver, Sabrina, at her side.
Lewis “Ann” (Philio) Sandles was born on Nov. 23, 1945, in Grimes County to the late Lewis Philio and Clara Bell Johnson-Philio. God called her to eternal rest on Nov. 19, 2023.
