Jackie Nell Springer, 89, of Madisonville, Texas passed away March 27, 2021 at her home in Madisonville. She was born April 19, 1931 in Midway, Texas to parents, James R. & Annie B. (Gafford) Colquitt.

Jackie worked most of her life as a dairy farmer and was a lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly. Jackie enjoyed yard work, gardening and fishing. Of all of Jackie’s hobbies, she loved traveling most, and cruising was her favorite form of travel. She went on several cruises, most with various family members and had a great deal of fun on these excursions.

Jackie was preceded in death by both of her parents; husbands, Floyd Parker, Sr. & Larry Springer; sons, Tracy Parker, Tim Springer and Kenneth Springer; brother, Glynn Colquitt and sister, Ira Bell Simmons.

Surviving family members are sons, Randy (Jan) Parker; Floyd (Celeste) Parker, Jr., Stephen (Sandra) Parker and Dewayne (Candace) Springer; daughters, Rita (Johnny) Thorpe, Sherri (Dennis Wiley) Colbert, Marsha (Cliff) Randall, Cathy Parker and Shelly Culp; sister, Eva Dell “Sugar” (Paul) Pierce as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral services for Jackie were held 10 A.M., Monday, March 29, 2021 at Madisonville, Texas. Terry Bryan officiated the service. Interment was in Allphin Cemetery in rura Madison County, Texas.

Pallbearers: Scott Comparetto, John Thorpe, Jr., Clifton Thorpe, Chris Parker, Mark Springer, Tony Springer

Arrangements were under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
